About the Society
The Society
The original Queen's Radio society was formed in 1953, before becoming dormant in the late 90's. In 2001, the society was taken over, and became a broadcast radio station.
QUB Amateur Radio Society was formed in November 2011, dedicated to the goal of widening the pool of licenced radio amateurs within Queen's University. The society runs training courses and exams for students, as well as providing an exam venue for members of the public.
